Myrtaceae Chardonnay is barrel fermented, undergoes full malolactic fermentation and remains in French Oak for 10 months.

The style has rich fruit, nutty oak and is balanced with a fresh citric acidity structure.  The seasons create variations in the proportions of these elements but the elegance is consistent.

 2016 Chardonnay

  2017 Chardonnay

Tasting Notes

The 2016 Chardonnay is a bright, elegant wine. The French oak, grapefruit and peach make layers of complexity that blend seamlessly to produce a fresh, mouth filling palate. The aftertaste shows fine, lingering fruit and acidity.

Tasting Note

The 2017 Chardonnay has a gleaming green, gold colour with a lime citrus and stone fruit nose. The palate richly displays beautifully balanced French oak, acidity and fruit. It has a long, lingering aftertaste of both flavour and texture.
